Failed today. Had 3 drinks this arvo... Another bottle down now. Hopefully I'll be strong enough to not by another (for at least a few days!)

As a side note though... I traced back to when the drinking became a bit of a problem "solver"... And the triggers for it. It was a painful realisation, and I still can't think through the events properly... But hopefully with time and insight, things might get easier/ improve as I can face those issues and the horrible feelings they bring up

I think liking this post would be a bit too easy/could come across as insensitive... I wanted to highlight it though, because I encourage the results of your introspection and the leads that stem from them :) Time and insight indeed. If only I could give you both in a neatly gift-wrapped format :)

 

Had the opportunity to drink but didn't: 8/8 for February and sober since 070115
