Thank you both for caring so much. Truly, meantly, deeply. You're both an inspiration<3 That's why I keep on visiting this topic even though I have nothing to be proud of

Thank you GW. What do you mean nothing to be proud of?! I was really impressed with all of your alc free days in previous months (which was better than I ever did might I add..). I still think you're an inspiration despite what you're going through now and I believe you are strong enough to achieve what you have in the past.

2 yesterday. Very anxious period for me so just trying to limit to 2 per day and Sundays free.

Thank you lovely (letsholdhands, well I quite like that username :D)... I don't know if you spotted my latest tattoo. It says Dead End Queen because that's how I feel. Dethroned and uncrowned :( Losing my job has been killing me drug by drug, liter by liter,,,

Thank you, GW. I hadn't seen your tat but it is beautiful. Very brave to do it on that part of your body. Losing your job and control over your life must be so so tough.. Someone I know actually had to stop working because she became very depressed and was already struggling financially. Thankfully she has some assistance, but she started volunteering once a week at an animal shelter and she loves it. Maybe that kind of thing might be helpful for you?

Good luck Nook  :)

2 drinks tonight.

I would love that, both for my own health and to give back to the community so to say. I actually checked out several places right when I received news of my contract being terminated. Unfortunately my government does not allow me to; if I were found out I would have to pay back all my benefits plus a fine. Normally jobless people can quite easily work around that without being found out but I made the damn stupid mistake to inquire with the benefits agency. They actually made a note in my digital file stating I will be checked upon regularly because they know of my wishes to volunteer :( So sad... I mean, not just sad for me. It's sad that someone who wants to spend time volunteering, promising not to let it get in the way of a (looking for) a job and independence gets threatened and being put on some sort of watch-list. I believe the reason behind it is that in the past people started volunteering so much, almost fulltime, and just keep on collecting benefits. So long story short: I appreciate the suggestion very much, I acknowledge it's a damn good one, but it's a risk I feel I cannot take. I want to stay on good terms with the government's agencies because I might need their help in the future, what with my mental health and all... So yeah. Oh, and thanks for the compliments as well :D The tattoo was a challenge because I am most insecure about my stomach and because I have never experienced that much pain...for hours ;)

Back on topic: Needless to say 0/14 over here, although I did drink slightly less. I am afraid what the night will bring though. Being restless and lying awake for hours makes it damn tempting to reach for the bottle, no matter how far from my bed I put it.

I'm proud of both of you and I appreciate your hugs, sweet words and encouragements so very much

You're very welcome  :)

Wow that's insane, I can't believe they won't allow it. Every bit counts, slightly less is still an achievement! I hope you got through the night ok.
