Seriously curiously? I know you can from casinos. Never heard of a self store ban though. Crossed my mind today as the triggers piled on me. Sat through them though.

Kudos on sitting through your triggers.

Not sure about the answer to your question. I'd think so but...?! Ask?

I didn't even know you could self-ban from casino's? That's pretty cool. I guess casino's have security though, which would manage the self-bans...? not sure who would kick you out of the liquor store if you showed up?

Good job for managing triggers!

As far as I am aware, if you ask nicely enough and people are chill, you can self ban from anywhere.

Though really, let's face it: this is completely on you and not the responsibility of any establishment.

Eta: with that said, yes. If someone were to say to me, "I need to be banned... blah blah blah." I would attempt to help them out, but in the end it is up to them.

Like, look... I have been in spots and sometimes you just need something and you know what, that is on you. You're the beautiful one, and if you feel like destroying yourself, that is your right.

I wish I could help more, but that isn't usually my job.

Yeah totally... but it's amazing how much easier things are with a little support from other people <3

That is true. If one wants something bad enough they will find it. In the past I got mad at my bf a lot for caving and buying me alcohol so quickly and not saying no. He had said he was afraid I'd go out and put myself in an even worse situation to get in. Sometimes he was probably right then other times it has helped just to hear his voice say no I won't help you kill yourself anymore. I ultimately have to make my choices though

Bahahahah! I love when people do that.
"Stop drinking!" as they shove you full of booze and any sign of actual emotion they grab you a drink.

Cute, isn't it?
How to not be part of the game: don't play it. Morons.

"I hate when you fucking drink!"
"Well, will you stop yelling and get me a drink?"
"Fine!"
World's disaster death pair. :(

I'm the girl who would grab his dope and flush it. (Or lock the door and dramatically sound like I was but use it while crying.)

Addiction is exhausting. Life tastes yummier.

^^it is. I've flip flopped between using my will power and also just accepting and letting go of my entire old life to where I cannot let these kind of thoughts come play. It was just a weird passing thought
